• Recap of updater issue

  • Test plan - Conor: suggesting no additional QA, proceed with post-release confirmation. Confirm on 0.5.2 that launcher does indeed attempt to update dom0.

  • All SecureDrop Workstation users will have to manually update dom0

  • Release mechanics: Mickael will review prod packages

• Release comms

  • Erik to draft release comms, these will assume Qubes dom0 update followed by forced updater run

SecureDrop Client release planning

• Seen/Unseen issues in Qubes with system Qt version
• Mickael testing debug mode
• Updating PyQt mode would resolve, but would result in much larger packages
• SD Client release delayed, may happen as late as week of December 7

Ro part-time announcement

Ro will be transitioning to part-time role at FPF starting in December (next week). Won't be spending as much time on Slack/in mtgs.
