Async update

Release update

  1. Translations tests are failing:
  1. We need help on the v3 transition testing:
  1. RC4 Monday? Once https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/pull/4801 is merged and backported, we could proceed with rc4 (since all other changes are docs and strings). If the translations are passing/merged on monday morning we can include those as well.
