docs_blackbox x32_install drivers
In order to use BlackBox on your computer, you may need to install device drivers.
- More modern operating systems may be able to use the BlackBox directly without additional drivers,
- Some computers might download drivers automatically from it's online update servers.
Connect your OpenBuilds BlackBox to your computer using a USB cable.
If it fails to install USB drivers automatically, you can download and install the drivers for your operating system:
Download Microsoft Windows drivers from: https://github.com/OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-DRIVERS/releases/download/latest/openbuilds_usb_drivers_2024.04.26.0.exe
Once downloaded, run the Installer and Install the Drivers. This single installer covers all our devices
Also be sure to turn off USB suspend Disable USB Selective Suspend on Windows machines so that long jobs can run without the USB going to sleep.
After completing the install, please Reboot
MacOS should already include Drivers as of MacOS 10.15
