In an interview on the Danish Radio P1, Christopher Gad explained some of the important aspects to consider when implementing an electronic and online election.

Among other things Christopher pointed out that voting in a public polling station makes sure no coercion takes place, a guarantee that cannot be made for online elections. Likewise when people vote for "Donald Duck" or other non-existing candidates it can be seen as a protest towards the established system. Christopher recommends that implementation of online elections needs to analyse and consider these parameters, whose absence might be seen as a democratic deficit.
