thomaspalma1/README.md

My name is Thomas Palma, a DevOps Engineer from Brazil 🇧🇷 focused on infrastructure, reliability, and automation.

In my career, I've worked with CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and configuration management with Ansible in Linux production environments. A significant part of my work involved troubleshooting and incident resolution in critical systems, along with observability and monitoring of distributed systems using Grafana and Prometheus.

I also bring a background in back-end development with Python and FastAPI, as well as Java and Spring, which helps me investigate problems from both sides, understanding not only the infrastructure, but how it connects to the application layer.

In parallel to my professional work, I build personal projects to explore widely adopted tools in the DevOps and SRE space, including Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, and observability practices with tools like Grafana and Prometheus.

I value collaborative environments, organization, and continuous learning, and I believe well-designed systems should be not only functional, but also easy to operate, scale, and maintain.
