Update the catalog workflow (.agents/workflows/update-catalog.md) with what the October FBC recovery showed was wrong or missing.

  • Merge gate: the standard check is no longer dismissed as noise. On PRs it usually reports warnings. A failure blocks merge unless its report shows only fork-provenance violations; a missing required task, for example, also fails the release.
  • Snapshot check: loops over the catalogs that have pipelines instead of a hard-coded 4.14–4.22 list, shows each snapshot's source SHA and aggregate result, and accepts BuildPLRInProgress only once the scenario has completed. Passing snapshot tests don't prove an install; the 4.x install tests request a channel no catalog defines, so QE verifies installation.
  • Troubleshooting: registry 401s in integration tests come from the tenant's konflux-integration-runner credential link, not your local login; fix it, then rerun the scenario rather than rebuilding. When release policy reports a missing required task, add it to both pipelines and release from the new push snapshot.
  • Drops the VPN advice: authenticated registry.redhat.io pulls work over the Red Hat VPN.

The README's troubleshooting section links to the workflow's. The pipeline fix itself is #86.

Validation: make mdlint and make test pass. The new snapshot loop ran against the live tenant and reported all seven catalogs.

credential link, then rerun) and missing required build tasks.
- Drop the VPN advice: registry.redhat.io works over the Red Hat VPN.
