What's New in WebLogic Remote Console 2.4.16

  • Improved user management for Authentication providers that support the required WebLogic Server APIs.
    • Create, edit, and delete users in any Authentication Provider, not just the Default Authenticator.
    • View group membership.
    • Filter users and groups by name.
  • Added support for two-way SSL/TLS connections to Desktop WebLogic Remote Console. You can configure the JDK identity keystore for two-way SSL/TLS connections to WebLogic Server.
  • Added a Log Out option to Hosted WebLogic Remote Console that disconnects from the application and returns user to the sign in page.
  • Added support for creating custom security providers.
  • Added support for creating certificate registries.
  • Added support for configuring logging levels (using java.util.logging) for Desktop WebLogic Remote Console. For logging in Hosted WebLogic Remote Console, use platform loggers instead.
  • Added support for changing the language of the console interface separately from the operating system. Addresses 67.
  • Added option (in Preferences menu) to disable the automatic check for updates. Addresses 75.
  • Misc. updates to WebLogic MBeans and their attributes for WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4.0, 14.1.2.0.0, and 15.1.1.0.0.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed token exchange error that occurred when using the Web Authentication feature with the Safari browser. (Requires the April 2025 Patch Set Update (PSU) for WebLogic Server.)
  • Fixed broken links throughout WebLogic Remote Console.
  • Removed DebugEmbeddedLDAPLogLevel debug option.
