Title List Upload Format

File Format

The system expectes a tab separated file, preferably encoded using UTF-8 file encoding

Columns

The columns of the tab separated file (TSV) need to be

Column	Header	Mandatory?	Description
1	list.name	Mandatory	Your name for this list e.g. Aspire Export, High Use Print, History of Art Wish List
2	title.identifier.type	Mandatory	example: title.identifier.isbn, needs at least 1, type should be lowercase. Examples include title.identifier.doi, title.identifier.ybp, title.identifier.aspireTitleId
3	title.title	Optional	If provided title will be used to create a record if we don't have one. No title + no matching identifier = row ignored
4	title.publisher	Optional	used to enhance record if we don't know the publisher already
5	title.primary_author	Optional	NOT title.author - which is confusing in multi author scenarios
6	title.publication_year	Optional	used if we don't already have a publication year
