Welcome to the Edge wiki. This wiki will help you learn about the various components of the EDGE lab in Bizzell Library.

What is the EDGE?

From the outset, uptake of emerging technologies by students and instructors has been hampered by the false perception that such tools required advanced training; or expensive equipment; or constant oversight (e.g. strict staffing models). The demystification of some particularly open-ended or empowering technologies, then, is the goal of the new OU Libraries EDGE space.

The EDGE is another step towards solidifying OU Libraries’ role as the intellectual crossroads of the University. With an ongoing workshop series, flexible hours, and the latest technology platforms, researchers and instructors can leverage the EDGE to engage with and deploy the latest technology for the benefit of the OU community.

Interactive Workshops

The Edge currently offers the following 1-2 hour workshops to learn about new, exciting technologies and how you can get started with them. These workshops are open to all OU students, staff & faculty.

Extended Resources

We also provide more in-depth resources for students, staff, and faculty to further explore the exciting technologies the EDGE currently offers or provides access to.
