Pathlinker breaks Excalibrain / Dataview index creation #240

Description

@neuhaupe

Hi Zslot,

Thanks for Excalibrain that I started to use recently. A great improvement over the local graph and the ontology is something that I want to exploit. However, when activating in Excalibrain in ma main vault I recognized that it did not show inferred links after restart of Obsidian. After some deactivating and reactivating of other plugins I idnetified the External-File Linker plugin (also called Pathlinker) as the culprit. Pathlinker seems to stall the index generation process.

Observation:
A vault with Dataview, Excalidraw and Excalibrain installed works as expected, showing relationships between notes inferred from their outgoing links or backlinks, respectively (besides the expressedly defined relationships using Dataview properties, i.e. proerty_name::).

When I turn on the External-File Linker plugin and restart Obsidian the inferred relationships are gone and Excalibrain constantly shows "Initializing index, please wait".

The process is revercible. When I turn off the pugin and restart Obsidian, Excalibrain shows the inferred realtionships and the "Initializing index, please wait" message does not appear.

I also checked what happens to Dataview queries of backlinks and outlinks. These queries kep working fine independent of External File Linker being active or not. Just Aecalibrain seems to notice an issue.

Please let me know if you have an idea what might cause the issue (I assume it has to do with the [[group:myCloud/...]] links) and what can be done. Also let me know if you need any additional details from me.

Cheers,
Peter
