🎯 What: Replaced uses of
console.errorwith the already existingGlobalOutputChanneland removed redundant logging insrc/databaseModel.ts.💡 Why:
console.errorprints to the extension host's debug console, which is not user-facing. Outputting to theGlobalOutputChannelimproves readability and maintainability for users by using a unified logging channel.✅ Verification: Ran the full test suite (
npm test) as well as the targeted unit test suite (bun x tsx --tsconfig tsconfig.test.json --test tests/unit/databaseModel.test.ts), which all passed. Confirmed changes logic visually usinggit diff.✨ Result: A more consistent debugging experience for extension users without dangling console logs in production code.
