I have GitHub Student, which gives me access to GitHub Copilot Pro. My completions are working fine, but despite that I've started seeing this popup each time I start neovim.

I'm using the latest version of copilot.lua (commit: d3783b9), and completions are functioning correctly. However this popup, stating "You've reached your monthly code completion limit. Upgrade your plan to Cop...", keeps appearing and is quite annoying.

Could you please advise on how to disable this popup? It would be great to avoid having to close it each time.

GitHub released a new free plan today and broke something causing this. They are actively working on fixing it based on a Reddit post I saw

Same issue here. I have a Pro plan obtained through a student account.

Edit: It started working again the next day. Maybe some instability on the servers is the cause. I know it's a nuisance, but it's best to wait before reporting it and if you've already reported it, please come back to confirm if I'm right.

The issue is from github and not this plugin. A lot of other student account including me got this. But as of writing, it has been rectified, you can try it again.

Same here. My free limit has been reached and that's fine, but this annoying pop-up keeps opening frequently to remind me of it. Is there a way to disable it?

Same here, too.
Sometimes, even “dismiss” does not work. (In an endless loop...)
I am not sure of the conditions under which it reproduces, so I can't report it well.
From a pragmatical standpoint, I would like to have an option to not have the dialog appear even if it is simply an expiration.
