I am a doctoral researcher working on automated analysis of acute ischemic stroke using artificial intelligence. My research focuses on multimodal CT/MRI analysis, lesion characterization, image registration, feature extraction, and clinically meaningful interpretation with deep learning.
Before my PhD, I completed the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics at Instituto Superior Técnico and Université de Toulon, after a B.Sc. in Computer Science from BRAC University. My broader background includes computer vision, robotics, underwater image analysis, LIDAR perception, disaster risk reduction, and applied AI systems.
- Medical image analysis for acute stroke
- Trustworthy AI and multimodal learning
- Image registration, radiomic features, and lesion characterization
- Computer vision, robotics, LIDAR perception, and underwater imaging
- Beyond Core and Penumbra: Bi-Temporal Image-Driven Stroke Evolution Analysis
- Automated analysis of acute ischemic stroke using multimodal medical imaging
- Depth-based image augmentation and recognition for underwater environments
- Deep learning for fire and waterlogging detection in disaster risk reduction
- Perception-based autonomous driving assistance with object detection, lane detection, and distance estimation
