gRMS is a fully fledged messaging service written completely in golang, with the help of Go-Fiber and mySQL

Getting Started

This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

  • Go
    sudo apt install golang

Installation

  1. Get your local IP address
    ip address
  2. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/veryshyjelly/gRMS.git
  3. Build the project
    go build
  4. Run the project
    ./gRMS

Usage

This app can be used to host a messaging service on you local network, as well as on the cloud. Just run the server and enter the ip address in the client and get hooked-up.

  • JWT authentication for saving sessions
