Overview

The UMD Libraries Theme uses Layout Builder to manage the main content area of the site, while Drupal's Block Layout is used to manage sidebars and other regions. It is recommended to follow the instructions here to set up the layout for your site for the best accessibility and experience.

Accessibility

To provide consistent accessibility practices across the site, you should follow the base layout for the whole site and set up the main page (landing page) and content page (internal pages) layouts as described in this section.
