I'm willing to merge this, though I'd ask whether this is actually a good change, since in principle you can just wrap your macro's output in a group to achieve the same right? But maybe it doesn't matter too much if that's what is expected... Maybe we can look into whether any styles are actively using this. |

Though I could not find it in the spec, the test suite makes clear that macros should be treated as groups: If a macro contains no rendered variables, it is suppressed.
Adds 1 passing test.
