This is a functional, but very early release.
This module is initially intended to store very large amounts
of data, but not accessed frequently.
*Requirements
- MongoDB server 2.x
- Pymongo 2.0.1 at least.
This module is tested in OpenERP server version 5.0
*Installation
You can install this module like any other OpenERP module.
The connection to the MongoDB server, defaults to:
- MongoDB database name = 'openerp' (mongodb_name)
- MongoDB server host = 'localhost' (mongodb_host)
- MongoDB server port = '27017' (mongodb_port)
You can use your own connection parameters by adding to the OpenERP
configuration file the keywords in brackets.
*Basics
from mongodb_backend import osv_mongodb
class MongoDBStoredObject(osv_mongodb.osv_mongodb):
'''Define here the object as usual'''
MongoDBStoredObject()
*Restrictions
It only allows all basic data fields (integer, float, char, boolean, etc...).
It does not allow relational fields like one2many, many2many, and many2one.
Browse method is not implemented by now.
Inheritance is not tested.
