Thanks for the report! To look into this, we need the steps to reproduce it, the app version and a screenshot or the exact error message. Please add them in a comment here, or open a new ticket with the details.
Thanks! This ticket describes several separate problems:
Crash after printing two different jobs
Printer configuration permanently altered
It helps a lot if each one has its own ticket, so they can be tracked and fixed separately.
This report has two parts, and they probably have different causes.
1. The crash. PdfCraft closing instantly on Windows 11 while printing matches #2684. In that issue the app dies with a native crash inside Windows' print components (Windows.Data.Pdf / Direct2D) when a page uses a Type 3 font. PDFs saved from Chrome often have one. If the crash only happens with some files, that would explain why it shows up after a couple of jobs.
If the app gets stuck at "Spooling" instead of closing, that's #2922.
2. "Permanently alters the printer configuration." None of the open printing issues covers this. #2422 is the opposite problem: settings from the Properties dialog are ignored. So we need more detail on this part.
Could you add:
The PdfCraft version (Help/About, or the download name, e.g. pdfcraft-0.8.0-windows-x64-portable).
The printer model and driver, or a virtual printer such as Microsoft Print to PDF.
Whether it crashes with every PDF or only some, and where those PDFs come from.
Which printer setting changed (default printer, paper size, color/grayscale, duplex, tray...), where you see the change (Windows Settings > Printers, or another app's print dialog), and whether it stays changed after a restart.
Any error dialog, or the Windows Event Viewer entry (Windows Logs > Application, "Application Error" for pdfcraft.exe) with the exception code.

Possibly related: #2684 and #2422.
