Hi, I'm Stella (Juanru) Zhang

I'm a Cornell Information Science graduate and incoming NYU Data Science master's student interested in data science, NLP, applied AI, and software engineering.

My work includes human–LLM value-alignment research, natural-language interfaces for structured data, text mining, machine learning, graph algorithms, and networked systems.

Selected work

E-Commerce Review Text Mining

An end-to-end R and Quarto analysis of customer reviews using TF-IDF, SVD, k-means clustering, and logistic regression.

Sewer Maze Pathfinder

A Java pathfinding project using graph traversal, shortest-path search, priority queues, and constrained route planning.

Terminal Chat Server

An OCaml and Lwt client–server chat application supporting TCP connections and asynchronous message handling.

Publication

ACM CHI 2026 · Farhana Shahid, Stella Zhang, and Aditya Vashistha

Studied how LLM-generated constructive rewrites alter the values expressed in contentious online discourse, using experiments with 347 participants from India and the United States.

Technical skills
