[jaɪks]: Just Another IPA Keyboard - Simplified

Just Another IPA Keyboard - Simplified, [jaɪks] for short, is just another IPA keyboard. (The name was inspired by a song by Yozoh.)

세상에는 이렇게, IPA 입력법이 많은데, 내가 "굳이 또 이렇게 IPA 키보드"(Just another IPA keyboard)를 만들고 있어요.

그래서 이 앱의 이름은 Just another IPA keyboard - Simplified ("굳이 또 이렇게 IPA 키보드, 그런데 간편한"), 줄여서 yikes [jaɪks]에요.

Why? (왜?)

This app helps me (and maybe you too?) enter IPA symbols

• without setting up a keyboard layout (which ends up unused most of the time)
• without connecting to an online tool (which might break on my end or their end), or
• without clicking symbols one by one on a chart (ugh... not a fan of the IPA Pickers).

키보드 설치, 인터넷 접속, 지루한 클릭 없이 IPA 기호 입력해요.

How? (어떻게?)

Hit sequences of keys to input IPA symbols (most should be identical to the IPA (SIL)'s shortcuts ).

Hit ESC to switch between the regular and IPA input modes.

연달아 자판 누르면 IPA 기호 나와요 (자판 조합은 여기랑 얼추 비슷).

ESC 누르면 일반(regular)과 IPA 입력 모드 전환해요.
