[no-release] docs(handover): #144 merged, jarvis on 2026.8.5, next up #132 - #145
Conversation
Header described an open PR and a 2026.8.4 jarvis. Also records the two things the merge itself does not: two merges are now unreleased under [no-release] (#141 + #134 ship together whenever the next real release is cut), and the separators were confirmed to RENDER in the Indigo client — which no test can assert, since the suite only pins the file's shape. How can I continue? After more reviews become available, a review can be triggered using the To avoid repeated limits, reduce automatic review volume by pausing incremental auto-reviews earlier, using label-based review opt-in, excluding WIP or generated PR titles, or requesting reviews manually when the PR is ready. If your team needs uninterrupted high-volume reviews, an organization admin can enable usage-based reviews. How do review limits work?CodeRabbit enforces per-developer PR review limits for each organization. Most developers receive the normal plan review availability. For paid Pro and Pro+ PR reviews, CodeRabbit uses adaptive limits for sustained high-volume activity. When a developer's recent PR review activity reaches the 95th percentile or higher among CodeRabbit users, additional reviews become available more gradually as earlier reviews age out of the rolling window. …eady tags The docs-only-no-bump precedent (#145) only worked while the current version was untagged under [no-release]; the v2026.8.6 release closed that loophole. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018Unpt5UPRdLoZkahH6a4gL
Docs only — no code, no version bump (
2026.8.5is untagged, so version-checkpasses; a docs PR should not mint a version nobody installs).
The handover header still described an open PR and a 2026.8.4 jarvis. It now
records three things the merge itself does not:
[no-release], so the latest release is still v2026.7.23 and the only 2026.8artefact is the hand-cut
v2026.8.0pre-release. Whoever cuts the next realrelease ships Bridge serves an EMPTY aggregator after restart — Apple resets rooms on every reboot #141's endpoint restore and Group the two Install/update menu items — they are 11 apart and easily confused #134's menu together — worth
knowing before writing the release notes.
No test can assert that: the suite pins the file's shape, not what Indigo
draws. If a future Indigo release stops honouring an empty
<MenuItem/>, thesuite stays green and the menu silently flattens — the symptom is a blank
clickable row where a divider used to be. That is now written down.
files over SSH plus a restart, after checksum-comparing the install against
the branch and finding no hot-patches.
NEXT UP is now #132 (the Rebuild Endpoint Map warning overstates what the action
does), then #131.
