Groovin: A 4+1 channel variable speed looper

version 0.56

This is a 64-bit Mac OS X application developed using Max/MSP 8.

Usage

  1. Create a folder called 'samples' in your user 'Music' folder and put .wav or .aif files there to be used within Groovin.

  2. Optionally, create a 'midi' folder in the same user 'Music' folder and put single track midi files (type 0) there for use within the Groovin.

  3. When you first run Groovin, it will ask you for permissions to use your microphone, this is not needed by the app so please deny Groovin the use of your microphone.

Features

Slightly more mature with some additional notable features:

  • vst/au plugins in the channel fx chains
  • beginnings of modulation (m in the filters)
  • channel muting
  • routing matrix (you can decide what goes into the relooper)
  • ... for you to discover

This is signed but not notarized (Catalina users may want to ctrl-open workaround) - I tried to notarize twice, but life's too short (and this is open source)...
