Project Title

• This is a Social Media With Chatroom WebApp made by Nodejs.

  • Social Media with chatroom web app is developed for people to connect to each other even after living in far away remote areas.
  • This web app will provide facility to user to login signup and then login using his credentials and then he/she can make posts consisting of pictures and comment on other people’s posts
  • User will also be able to join Interest based chatrooms where he can chat and communicate with people having same interest as his.

Motivation

Advantages of Social Media Webapp

• all data will be stored on secure encrypted cloud mongodb database.
• You can login into your account from Multiple devices as long as you remember your credentials.
• The website will be responsive for mobile phone displays.
• Your Data will be confidential(no one can access it except you),Integral(No modification of data by anyone else can ever occur),Available(data will always be available)

Limitations/features to add in future

• Person to person chat feature is not available

Install

• Download and install NodeJS
• git clone https://github.com/shaheryarshaikh1011/youbookk in your project folder
• To run this project, install all dependencies using npm install:
• create a session id in env file
• use db string to connect to db

$ npm install
$ node app.js
