Independency
This release of AutoSTAR_remote allows controlling the telescope over the serial interface without ASCOM driver. It also runs on Raspberry Pi (where ASCOM is not available). For instance you can use it on Astroberry to setup your telescope before you do your observations with Ekos.
On Windows you can use the compiled executable. On Raspberry Pi you need to run the Python code.
v1.0.1
- improved error handling (ignoring now timeout errors when handheld needs too long for calculations)
- faster LCD update after key press
v1.0.0
This works fine with my Meade telescope.
The compiled binary just needs to be unpacked. No installation and no Python is needed. ASCOM driver https://bitbucket.org/cjdskunkworks/meadeautostar497 must be installed and off course you need to connect your #497 AutoSTAR with your computer.
