Dispatch #14's openindiana leg: tjs BUILT, SMOKED, and spawn-probed clean — all three illumos flavors now run the engine. The remaining wall was our own build floor: OI packages node 20.20.0. The build path parses clean down to node 18 (checked) and never runs the extracted bundle under node; floor lowered to 20 with OI as the living proof (OpenBSD 22 remains the second). Dispatch #14's freebsd-arm64: engine green, builder fused and answered — then the full smoke died at the ~10-minute mark: the fuse worker's hardcoded 5-minute guard SIGKILLed a healthy bytecode compile running under TCG (10-20x slower than metal). New env knob threads an integer multiplier through all five build-pipeline subprocess timeouts (default 1; unit-tested); CI's VM legs export 10.
