## Abstract: Architects Aren’t the Smartest People in the Room
But they make everyone else smarter! It’s a common misconception that architects should make complex and difficult to reverse decisions. In reality, though, development teams are closer to the technical details and have to live with the consequences of their decisions. If teams are better equipped to make decisions, then architects help them make better decisions, for example by widening the solution space, unearthing hidden assumptions, or highlighting trade-offs.

This talk shows architects how they can make the most impact by not making decisions.

**The presentation this evening will be given in English.**
