I think this all looks good. Good to merge. That said, it might be a good idea to build the tarball from this devel branch and go thru the CRAN submission process. Then don't merge until CRAN accepts it. What do you think? |

Thinking about it further, it's probably just fine to go ahead and merge it now. Go ahead whenever you're ready. |

I would prefer to merge and let folks who filed issues know that a new version if available right now on 'master' branch. Also, I think we ought to remain the main deployment branch to 'main', but I need to do some research on how to do that and any side effects that might occur. |
