Description

New apps submitted after Aug 31, 2025 must target Android 15 (API level 35).

Action

  • Verify targetSdkVersion is 35 via expo-build-properties plugin or EAS config
  • Expo SDK 54 with React Native 0.81.5 should support this
  • May need to add expo-build-properties plugin to app.json if not already present
  • Test build compiles and runs correctly targeting API 35
