How's the weather up there?

Giraffe watches the archive for new ARD tiles, and monitors the ingestion of the contained TIFs.

Install

Dependencies

• grafana 5.0.0
• elasticsearch 6.2.1
• python 3.5+

External services can be run using docker-compose, and giraffe can be run locally using docker:

docker-compose -f setup/docker-compose.yaml up -d
docker build -t lcmap-giraffe .
docker run -it --rm --net=setup_lcmap_giraffe lcmap-giraffe

Configuration

For production configuration, use the .giraffe.ini

To override common parameters for different environments or situations:

GIRAFFE_ARD_ES_INDEX	Index for Archive ARD status
GIRAFFE_IWDS_URL	IWDS URL (a.k.a. "chipmunk")
GIRAFFE_IWDS_ES_HOST	Hostname (ElasticSearch) for TIF Ingest status
