Methods to evaluate Shannon diversity in Digital Libraries

Initial objectives:

1. Test sensitivity of diversity to lenght of text.
2. Extrapolate value of diversity for large (inifinite length) document.
3. Compare asymptotic values for different authors, genres, periods, languages.
4. Employ diversity to track the evolution of the coverage of authors and topics.
5. Apply diversity to analyse usage of classes and properties by linked open data.
