Welcome to the quasar wiki!

This is Quasar, a fully-fledged solution to develop OPC UA servers.

Quasar originated as an internal project at CERN, but now is used also by commercial companies and for private, open-source projects.

These days Quasar supports two OPC UA backends ("stacks"): Unified Automation C++ UA Toolkit (which requires a paid license) and Open62541 OPC UA Stack (free and open-source). The latter one has bit less features but still covers a lot and it is very easy to use.
