Hello, thank you for your work on pendulum! pendulum has a bunch of timezone related package dependencies (some removed now, some still active), among which tzdata is only used in tests and can be removed completely in favor of builtin Zoneinfo. I am the maintainer of pendulum package in debian and the debian package has been safely carrying this patch for more than an year. I have been intending to upstream this patch since then, but it never happened till now.
PS: There are test failures when I checked locally, but they already exist before this.
