- build with `python -m build` in the code directory - install locally with `pip install <directory>`
- for pure pip installs we don't need demos, figures, env, etc.
improv <configfile>.yml now calls basic_invocation in __init__.py This will allow us to rewrite demos to use simple command-line invocations
- this argument allows users to specify a search path at which actors relevant to the config file may be found
- running sample_demo in pytest fails on pyarrow 10.0.0 but works on 9.0.0

Added additional run manager tests. PR is also to test windows testing from github actions. Second PR.
