Auto-Tune Configuration

Auto-Tune's configuration options explained.

time-period

The period of time in minutes that the prices of items update. Maximum buys and sells are also reset each time period. Increasing this options makes the server economy more stable but makes items slower to respond to changes. If you have lots of players on your server you can decrease this value.

volatility

The maximum percentage change in price a shop can have in a time period. This can be increased for high player counts and decreased for lower ones as higher values make the economy more unstable but more adaptable.

sell-price-difference

The default percentage difference from the buy to the sell price. Lowering this value can make your economy more exploitable but increases how many people will use it (as prices are "fairer" because they have no tax for selling). If this value is too high no one will want to interact with the economy. If it is too low it can lead to exploits and drastic price changes on low player counts.

minimum-players

This option can be incredibly useful for servers suffering from exploits and unstable prices. It stops price updates until there are at least the minimum players online. This is beneficial as it means small groups of players all online at the same time can't influence prices until more players are online. You should probably increase this if you have more than a small handful of players.

enable-sell-limits

Whether buy and sell limits on items should be enabled or not. This overrides the value set in shops.yml if set to false.

enable-loans

Whether loans and /loan should be enabled on your server. This means the interest on loans will not update and no new loans can be created. This is off by default as loaning is still in alpha.

interest

This is the servers interest rate per minute for loans. You can increase this if players are loaning a lot of money and buying items. However, on most Minecraft servers the problem is excessive selling and not buying. This encourages players to buy items from the shop and invest in farms etc.

tutorial-update

The rate in seconds that tutorial messages are sent to players. You can increase this if your players generally know what their doing or the message frequency is annoying. (To turn off tutorial messages you can remove the tutorial setting in messages.yml).

port

The port of the integrated web server.

background

The default item for the background for GUIs.

log-level

The log-level for Auto-Tune. Auto-Tune will print all logs at or above this level in this order: SEVERE, WARNING, INFO, CONFIG, FINE, FINER, FINEST, ALL

locale

The locale for your server. This setting influences the way percentages, currencies and numbers in general are formatted. Change this to your servers default locale. This does not affect messages.yml messages.
