This Java microservices demo application includes an API Gateway, Eureka Netflix, Department Service, and Employee Service. These services can be used to manage department and employee data for a company.
To run this application in a local development environment, you can follow the steps below.
- Java 11 or higher
- Maven
- Docker (optional)

Clone this repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/your_username/microservices-demo.git cd microservices-demo -
Build the project and install dependencies: mvn clean install

Start each service.

After the services have started, you can visit http://localhost:8761 to access the Eureka Netflix Console. Here, you should see the registered services.

You can access all services combined with the API Gateway.
