The Readme still links the old app that this one was forked from. It's removed from the Play Store because it's outdated. The F-Droid link is working but outdated as well.

Just sideload this fork's version from https://github.com/morckx/RadioDroid/releases, this works great!

I had to delete the old/original RadioDroid package before I could install this. Before that, I used Neo Backup to backup the app's data. If you don't have root, at least use the RadioDroid app to backup and restore the history and favourites as playlists. Install the new package. Restore the data with Neo Backup (or restore the history and favourites from playlists). Good to go.

I copied this project's releases URL into Obtainium, and that should keep me up to date.

Ain’t nobody need Google Play. Google apparently is killing Android next year anyway.
We need this fork in F-Droid!

According to the F-Droid maintainers, they understandably refuse to just change the repo of the existing package to this, and request us to submit it as a new app. (It also needs to have a separate app ID.)

So, who’s up for doing that? @morckx?

👍 @morckx I believe that adding the app to F-Droid will benefit the project by helping it gain more users and greater visibility.
