Summary

Bounded snapshot-based OpenClaw trace viewer for the boulder CLI, delivered across 5 commits.

  • feat(trace): one-shot session collection via bun:sqlite read-only adapter (streaming + bounded), immutable hash-chained JSONL journal under .boulder/traces with shared writer lock + commitBatch + kill-recovery, deterministic snapshot projection, verify --strict, published-chain read walker shared by collect/bindings/serve.
  • feat(trace-ui): local read-only React UI in packages/trace-ui served by the trace server (Host/Origin/traversal rejection, revision pinning, bindings_warnings degradation).
  • feat(routine): routine evidence attachment via RoutineArtifact.evidenceRefs ({kind,path,hash,note}); retro + skill-proposal render trace refs.
  • fix: deterministic readdir ordering, bin shim signal forwarding + ENOENT exit, freshness baselines.
  • build: packaging + release evidence refresh.

Verification

  • bun test: 582 pass / 0 fail (58 files)
  • bunx tsc --noEmit: clean
  • bun run build + build:trace-ui: green
  • pack:dry-run: 216 files
  • Live e2e: doctor admit/refuse, collect quarantine, verify strict, serve + corrupt binding degradation + revision pin, link→descriptor→attach→retro — all exercised on real CLI.

Evidence

.omo/evidence/boulder-observability/ (plan compliance, code review, manual QA transcript, ideal-state fidelity, residuals wave)

Bounded one-shot collection via bun:sqlite read-only adapter (streaming
iterate, admission fingerprint + PK-order checks converged with doctor),
immutable hash-chained JSONL journal under .boulder/traces with fsync
commitBatch + shared writer lock + kill-recovery, deterministic snapshot
projection, verify --strict, published-chain read walker shared by
collect/bindings/serve, source-config resolution, and fixture corpus.

Plan: .omo/plans/boulder-observability.md
Session tree, unresolved-timeline, usage and revision-pinned views
served by the Bun trace server; deterministic build, api.ts reconciled
to SessionProjection contract, stale-revision reconciliation.

Plan: .omo/plans/boulder-observability.md
routine evidence add validates descriptors by hash, stores
{kind, path, hash, note} refs, retro renders Attached evidence + resolved
trace bindings, skill propose carries trace|traces allowlist; CLI gains
trace + routine-evidence subcommand wiring and real help text.

…lines

- bin/boulder.js: forward SIGINT/SIGTERM/SIGHUP to the bun child and
exit via 'close' so missing bun exits nonzero instead of 0
- sort readdir output in replay-check/replay-run/service-readiness/
  service-field-evidence/product-readiness for machine-independent
baselines; refresh readiness-v0 baselines and replay official-docs
freshness dates (gajae-code docs URL updated for upstream rename)
- bin-shim-signals + replay-check tests cover the new behavior

Plan: .omo/plans/boulder-observability.md
files field + build:trace-ui before smoke in ci, package-inventory
fixture regenerated for the 216-file pack, release manifest/dry-run/
evidence-plan counts aligned, doc-registry refreshed for docs/trace,
gitignore covers trace artifacts + dist + node_modules, CHANGELOG
Unreleased populated.

Plan: .omo/plans/boulder-observability.md
bun build cannot resolve react without an install step, and the deps
belong to @boulder/trace-ui, not the published CLI package - moving
them also keeps react out of the CLI's runtime deps.
