Manna Ray

A Claude Code plugin that turns Claude into a Product Management Operating System. Manna Ray orchestrates 31 PM skills across 5 structured workflows, managing context files, workflow state, and skill chaining — so PMs can focus on decisions, not process.

What It Does

Manna Ray wraps your product knowledge in five context files (product, company, personas, competitors, goals) and automatically injects the right context when you run PM skills. It tracks what you've done, chains skills into multi-step workflows, and nudges you when context files go stale.

You stay in Claude Code. Manna Ray handles the plumbing.

Quick Start

Install

# Clone into your Claude Code plugins directory
git clone <repo-url> ~/.claude/plugins/manna-ray

Initialize a Project

Open Claude Code in your project directory and run:

/manna-init

This scaffolds:

• context/ — Five context files (product, company, personas, competitors, goals)
• outputs/ — Organized output directories (discovery, strategy, specs, analytics, launch, productivity)
• .manna-ray/state.json — Project state tracking
• CLAUDE.md — Configures Claude to work with Manna Ray

You'll be guided through populating your context files.

Run a Skill

/manna-run prd-generator

Manna Ray validates that required context files exist, warns if any are stale, loads them automatically, runs the skill, saves the output, and records the run in your project history.

Start a Workflow

/manna-workflow start idea-to-sprint

Workflows chain skills together. Each step's output feeds into the next. Use /manna-workflow next to advance, /manna-workflow skip to skip a step, or /manna-workflow cancel to abandon.

Check Status

Context Files

Manna Ray uses five canonical context files that accumulate product knowledge over time:

Context files are checked for staleness (30-day threshold). When a skill produces insights relevant to a context file, Manna Ray suggests updating it.

Design Principles

1. Native plugin model — No compilation. Markdown + bash + JSON + YAML.
2. Skills stay as prompts — The plugin handles plumbing; Claude handles reasoning.
3. Declare, don't discover — Dependencies declared in frontmatter and workflow YAML.
4. Suggest, don't force — Warnings and prompts are always skippable.
5. Portable paths — ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} and ${CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR} everywhere.
6. Incremental population — Context files grow organically over time.
