This is a template for Railway that helps you get started with deploying the Ponder blockchain indexer.

Features

• PostgreSQL server
• Ponder indexer
  • Railway is pre-configured to run it

  • Applies the --schema parameter to enable zero-downtime deployments
  • Exposes GraphQL at the /graphql endpoint

Next Steps

Adding indexing of specific contracts will require changes to the Ponder installation. To do this, perform the following:

• Access the indexer service in Railway
• Click on the "Settings" tab
• Click on the "Eject" button next to "Upstream Repo"
  • This will offer to create a new repo in a GitHub organisation of your choosing. After that, you can make changes.

Following creation of your own repo for source code:

• Add ABIs under /abis
• Add contract definitions under /ponder.config.ts
• Define the schema in /ponder.schema.ts
• Read the Ponder docs

Commands

• Run development server: pnpm run dev
• Lint: pnpm run lint
