In 1.11.0 the /usr/bin/claudeline symlink belonged to the transitional claudeline package. apt 3 sees that package as transitional, moves the manual-install mark to ailine and leaves claudeline auto-installed, so apt autoremove removes it together with the symlink. A statusLine that runs claudeline would then stop working.

The symlink now ships in ailine, which replaces and breaks claudeline older than 1.11.1, and the transitional package is empty. I checked it in an Ubuntu 26.04 container (apt 3.2) with a snapshot build, upgrading both from 1.10.1 and from 1.11.0: after apt-get autoremove claudeline is gone and the claudeline command still runs ailine.

apt 3 treats the empty claudeline package as transitional: it moves
the manual-install mark to ailine and leaves claudeline auto-installed,
so autoremove deletes it. In 1.11.0 that package owned the
/usr/bin/claudeline symlink, which went with it. The symlink now
belongs to ailine, which replaces and breaks the older claudeline so
the file changes owner on upgrade.
