If you leave 0 values there, those gaps can be filled with senseful values that make sense in the local context, with my tool, MindaGap. |

Add an optional argument to
Mosaic.assemble_channelto allow custom values for blank pixels. This is mainly for filling cracks in the mosaic to achieve better visual representation, especially in bright-field images. The mask might be useful for better alpha blending.
