feat: add manual verification for issue 40

• Add a real manual verification module for issue Test 19:58:53: Manual verification #40's acceptance code, 2323.
• Normalize manual input before checking the code so pasted values with whitespace still pass.
• Add focused regression tests and run them through npm test.
