Start a new track: click on any of the two buttons circled.

Select a proper label from the buttons menu: wait until the GPS signal is fixed (green bars).

Click the button that fits the most, according to the feature you want to be mapped in your trace. Add voice recordings, take pics and text notes if necessary.

Mark the way-points by clicking the button multiple times.

Display your current track by clicking the options icon

Stop and save your track: when you’ve finished tracking your route press the floppy disk icon.

Rename and describe your track: press and hold a track in the main window as seen in section 1. Export your track as a .gpx file, it’ll be stored in a default directory in the SD card or a directory of your choice.

Resume a track and upload a track to OSM.
- Change buttons layout: if you want to begin a thematic mapping, there’s a preset of custom layouts that you can download and use, follow the steps shown in the 9, 10 and 11 screenshots.
- Change screen orientation and the theme color.
- About GPX File:
14.1. HDDP approximation: improves position accuracy if checked.
14.2. Accuracy in GPX file: adds an error range in meters on every waypoint name.
14.3. Export compass heading: defines if and how the compass data should be exported to the GPX file.
- GPS Settings: if it’s setted to High Accuracy your phone will use GPS and mobile data or WiFi to determine your location.
