Issue Syncing Chats #220
Comments
I've also now discovered that the application won't let me log out. It is stuck on the "logging out, do not close this window" |
Same here, 4.16.3 on LMDE 6. Quitting and starting again (maybe even reloading?) works, but then the syncing problems start again. Now it just stops at 100% loading chats (see #229). |
Initially I had the following issues with WhatSie, then they suddenly went away: At first it got stuck at 65 %, but CPU usage stayed high 10 %+ and memory usage steadily increasing to above 6 GB. If I open it now, syncing is complete. Sending and receiving messages works. CPU usage < 1 %, memory steadily at ~600 MB. I don't know why the issue went away. OS: PopOs 22.04 |
I'd like to report an issue with the Whatsie app. Downloaded from Pop Os' store. Lately when opening app, it gets stuck on "syncing messages". It always gets like 95% of the way done but never finishes. In the process of doing so, it absolutely crushes my battery since it grabs between 10 and 20% of my CPU. I'm not sure what it's stuck syncing. I've tried going into settings > applications > whatsie and clearing the cache then re-opening the app but that doesn't seem to help.
