Hi, I have not been working with Django or Django-nonrel for a few years. I can merge this if it seems to work and is helpful? Or maybe redirect the project to your version @huandzh, if you're still active with it? |

Hi, I had intended to use this package in a django-nonrel-1.6 project and found some issues on compatibility. Here is the proposed fix.
Any ideas?
