Founder of ChristianDevs. Senior software engineer at Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I work mostly in TypeScript across the stack, and I spend a lot of my time on the same question: what actually makes a small engineering team ship faster without shipping worse WHILE creating value.
Throughout my career, I've gravitated toward solving operational problems, improving developer experience, and delivering software quickly without sacrificing quality. Rather than identifying primarily by programming languages, I want to be known for translating complex business problems into practical technical solutions. My experience spans software engineering, technical leadership, process improvement, data analysis, and mentoring, giving me the ability to bridge technical implementation with business outcomes.
I also care about what the work is for. Building software inside a mission-driven nonprofit has made that question concrete rather than abstract, and it shapes what I choose to spend nights and weekends on.
At the end of the day, I'm a child of Jesus Christ, a husband, and a father - I just happen to do software engineering. But I love what I do. On a personal note, I love drawing, painting, reading, and hiking in my spare time. I also enjoy gardening with my wife and playing with my four small children.
