Tuning Info

Introduction

Purpose & Credits

This github repo and wiki are for the purpose of organizing information that I have dug up on various forums and through my own experimentation in tuning a high-power (~400whp) Evo X MR. Much of this information is based on the hard work of others in the Evo tuning community, particularly tephra, razorlab, gunzo, BakaUnchi (HB Speed), Beeble, sstevojr, richardh and WORKS Motorsports. Some of these people have paypal accounts, others operate businesses. If you like what you see here please consider supporting them as the info you see here would not exist without them.

Warning

I will try to maintain all information in a way that is applicable to all SST-based Evo Xs and RAs, however everything that I will be doing will be based on an Evo X MR that originally had a 52690021 ROM and has been reflashed to a TephraMOD version of the 52690022 ROM (ID 52690122). Please exercise caution if using the XML or information here and your ROM is different. Double check every stock value before you change it to ensure that the XML addresses are correct and that your scaling is accurate.

Installation

The fastest and easiest way to get started is to copy all of the basemaps into your EcuFlash metadata directory.

This is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo or C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo for 64-bit and 32-bit OSes respectively.
