Hi, I did a fresh install on fedora and ran into this issue that is said the installed python 3.14 is not newer than 3.9. This PR removes the hardcoding of python versions and just checks if the version is really > 3.9 |

Thanks for this @fredericbirke! I ran into this issue after updating to fedora 43 which has python 3.14 installed by default. |
