Track the whereabouts of the latest Pulse Bus in Richmond
You will need to have redis-server installed to run the application in a dev environment:
- Mac:
brew install redis
- Linux:
sudo apt-get install redis-server
- Windows: The Redis project does not officially support windows so you cannot use local development. You can still build this project in a Docker container using
npm run build
.
To run this application, you need to get an API key by making an account on GRTC and requesting for one under My API
. Once you have it, add it to a .env
file, something like:
GRTC_KEY=<your key>
npm install
npm start
npm run build
At the current state, the project only supports the Scott's Addition Eastbound and Westbound stops, which can be pinged using these URLs, respectively:
- localhost:<port>/3504
- localhost:<port>/3503
