Whac-A-Mole Game Flow

Home Screen

  • If not logged in, show a "Login with Twitter or Facebook" button
    • You should still be able to play without login into Twitter or Facebook. Probably your score won't be saved in this case. Or maybe it will and you just will be Anonymous (We are legion, We never forgive, We never forget, Expect us)
  • "Play" button
  • "Leaderboard" button
  • "Other" button

Game Stage

  • The idea is to tap (kill) as many targets as possible
    • There should be "good" and "bad" targets
    • You should tap the "bad" or you will lose points
      • Points referred to to the number of targets you've killed
    • Might be cool if some targets give you more points than others
  • Before starting the game, we need a count from 5 (or 3) to 0 to begin the game. Just so people "get ready"
  • Game starts. We have another countdown from maybe like 1 or 2 mins to tap (kill) as many targets as you can
  • There should be a "Pause" button. (Please see "Pause Game Section" for more info about this)
  • Number of targets killed so far

Paused Game Stage

In this screen you still see how many targets you've killed so far and how much time you have left in the your current round

  • We should have a "Continue playing" button
  • We should have a "Reload game" button
  • We should have a "Go home" button

Game Over

In this screen we show:

  • Score: points earned
  • Username
  • Options to share on Facebook and Twitter
  • "Reload game" button
  • "Leaderboard" button
  • "Go home" button

Leaderboard

  • You know, a list of users with their score next to them
  • A "Go home" button

Others

This section is not super important, but would be nice. In case we can add music to the game, we could have here:

  • Options to disable music effects for:
    • Game Stage music
    • Sound effects music
  • Info about the game
  • "How to play the game" info
